The RK5000PS-3U chassis has 12 empty slots that can hold singlewidth or double-width fiber optic modules. The modules and the internal power supply are 3 rack units (RU) high. The internal power supply powers all modules and can be replaced easily if it fails. The chassis is designed to mount into an EIA-standard, 19-inch rack.
